World Tai Chi Qigong Day

These are reasons why these Chinese exercises have been,

for decades, promoted by the Chinese government as a way to care for

its citizens when Western style medical care was expensive or unavailable.

Today western doctors are increasingly recommending Tai Chi

as a form of therapeutic and preventative exercise.

Because it is a type of “standing meditation,”

Tai Chi & Qigong benefits the mind as well as the body.

World Tai Chi Qigong Day has been organized around the world

since 1999, a recognized annual event in more than 60 countries.

By exposing Angelinos to the art of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong we advance the health and well being of the people of our community.

Over the past 8 years Los Angeles has become one of the top

World Tai Chi Qigong Day organizers. We will have world

renowned masters from China perform along side our local talent.

There will be raffle ticket drawings the whole day.
